These pictures were taken awhile ago, probably in the late 70’s.
Some had guessed that it is near Demopolis, Alabama.
Maybe under a bridge on US 43 or US 80.

Tug approaches the bridge pushing a huge load of coal....

Seems to be a fairly strong current behind the tug and barge.....
All below are from the opposite angle.

The bridge has not opened and the tug cant stop! Notice they have released the barge.
It seems as if they are trying to back down as hard as they can to avoid hitting the bridge.

Notice the current pushing the tug into the bridge on the port quarter....

The current pushes the tug sideways against the bridge.........
I guess they're not having a good day???
The rest of these pictures are simply not to be believed.........its amazing!!!!
Enjoy

OK!..... The next few pictures are unreal........
You would never imagine this could happen....

Notice the water pouring out of the bridge door.......

The bridge seems to be drained and now its pouring out of the mid - deck......

Can you believe this??!!!...........

It's actually coming to the top!!!! Hard to believe.......

Oh! There's my barge,.......lets see if I can catch it?

Notice how well the tug is floating now.......

Do you by any chance see the smoke? This thing is running again!!!!
I wonder if they had a change of underwear on board?

Notice the prop wash behind the tug!!!!!
Tell me these are not amazing pictures??!!!............
All in a days work.
